The Players Invitational 2012

The Players Invitational was played at Espoo Ringside Golf in Finland on July 21^st 2012.

The Event was a big success and the tournament concept and the impressive prize table attracted a lot more participating players than expected, 112 in total.

With the support from TAT there was a delicious mix of traditional Finnish Midsummer dishes and Thai food served after golf, followed by the Prize Ceremony, live music and dance.

The SINGHA BEER WORKSHOP and “The Amazing Thailand Lucky Draw” was arranged.

With the support of generous partners East Coast Golf & Travel, Santiburi Samui, City Beach Hotel Hua Hin, Vista Hotel Pattaya, Imperial Mae Ping Hotel Chiang Mai, Siam Country Club, Springfield, Black Mountain, Banyan Golf Club, Chiang Mai Highland Resort and Mae Joe Golf the Players Invitational team had the possibility to present some nice 3-4 days packages to different top golfing venues in Thailand.

The Grand Prize, presented by Golf Tours Turkey and Cornelia Resorts Belek was handed to the Winners Mr Sami and Mr Turo Pikkarainen. Their magnificent score of 43 points in a 2-men Better Ball competition is very impressive.

The winners will defend their title in Belek 2013. Belek and Cornelia Resorts with the Faldo golf course will be the venue for the 2013 Players Invitational and it promises to be a very popular decision.
